Michael Vaughan believes it is inevitable that England stars will compete in the Indian Premier League.

The England and Wales Cricket Board says international commitments will stop centrally-contracted players playing IPL cricket this year and next.

You might want to quote something a bit more relevant than just the first two paragraphs. They don't relate to the title at all.

Today I was wondering why I don't see a single English player in IPL.
Hope that changes.

The Hampshire captain, Dimitri Mascarenhas, has played one day cricket for England as recently as February. He played for the Rajasthan Royals against the Delhi Daredevils yesterday.

From what I have seen of the Indian Premier League, there is no reason to play in it other than for financial gain.
 
From what I've heard the Twenty20 competition in England will be getting a massive rebranding from that American who sounds like he is prepared to pour millions of £££ into the game.

true... its a tournament for players to get richer... not really for great cricket... but for many its really entertaining though..
