Alright, long story short a month or two ago I fell through a double glassed coffe table luckily only cutting up my right hand really badly and my left knee..shards could have gone anywhere.

Annyyyyway, I only got the main big cut in between my middle finger sorted out by the docs and thought the others will be alright...turns out the middle finger now has a small hole in it and there is this huge lump at one end of the finger and boy it HURTS. This is all before my fingernail btw. So the other day this hole had some yellow scab I pealed it off then a TINY amount of what I think was pus came out, but then no more.

So I want to know how the hell can I get rid of this, since I've had a hole in my finger it's been worse, and what does getting lanced consist of?

I tried google and it says dip hand in warm water for a while everyday, I don't know why I'm posting this here...desperation, I tried needle hurt like mad, damn I'm a pussy LOL.

Salted water can reduce the swelling and pain but yeah see your GP. You'll feel much better after.

I would put my hand in the freezer for about 40 minutes and then chop it off with a carving knife. Use sandpaper to smooth any rough edges.


Alternatively, see a doctor.

Okay on a more serious note: bathing it in warm water with soda crystals will help to clean it out.
