HARD MODE !!!

Hi

You ppl must have played the game on hard mode , just tell me if u had ny fun playin it .
Medium was good as we could bat well and the bowling was a bit rough so it became all the more interesting but Hard Mode , it was allmost impossible even the flick shot was a difficult one to play .

But hard mode is more like real cricket.
I'm on 203 for 4 after 50 overs in a warm up match in Australie. You have to bat concentrated and can't hit 4 or 6 all the time. I like it.

hard's easy if you get repetitive --> advance....its like a more advanced version of medium mode where instead of playing flicks for 6, you play advanced on drives, off drives, cover drives....etc.. just need to get the timing worked out with the nets..

squiz...does the gameplay patch work because i've heard all sorts of things abotu it. if it does then i will download it. its no fun hitting 25 runs an over .

its good : It's not easy so you cant score at 10+ runs an over, but its not hard that you can only 2 runs an over

i need to get that patch. today i scored 435 all out in a 20-over one day (world cup) match on hard mode... okay it was against the dutch :P but srinath scored 174 and laxman made 145 that was the highlights... and i beat west indies in 4 overs chasing 158 ...so getting that patch now

ive read that a few people say that version 3 patch is still to easy..i find it to be about my limit as my timing is a little off and i cant make big scores anymore without having to play carefully i seem to mostly get out by lbw's either just by mistiming a shot or miss judging the delivery....

has anyone thought of just trying to remove the bowling cursor or make it small enough that its hard to see... that would make batting more difficult as you couldnt plan your shot by watching the ball marker before the delivery..instead you would have to think on your toes and play shots from the pitch of the delivery

the downside to that is that when you are bowling you wont be able to see where you are pitching the ball and give away a tone of runs to wides... but if you were happy to just use the autoplay feature when bowling it might work out good to use...
anyways just a thought.......

I find batting pretty good in hard mode,but bowling is to easy keep rollong sides for not many,i have to set defensive fields to give them a chance,any one else find getting wickets in hard mode too easy???? :huh:

i find it too boring to bowl and am pretty exasperated by the time i reach the fifth ball of my first over! so i wouldn't really know if bowling is easy/hard/etc.... i just find batting a blast.

u bet....batting in this game is the best according to me....even to watch....but if only they would stop jerkling their heads as the ball bounces n animate the faces like the do in t he intro....it would have been a watchers game 2

guess we have to wait for 2006...just hope they don't lose something next time like they did with the faces this time.... i seriously think EA should recruit some of the guys on these forums to make the game truly realistic and interactive... i guess its either laziness by them or something else that they do not put out a fully-featured and complete bugless game. i understand the problems with the kits as they might have licensing issues. but that apart...it really amazes me!

my thoughts r that they take more then a year instead n release a quality game....HB was bad with c2002 but they have developed well with c2004....the only thing missed out on this game was testing...they didnt test it i think....or maybe they didnt test it 4 long n that well....so i rather vote for c2007 instead and this time including atleast Lan play for god sake
