I seriously think this game is losing it's integrity.

Little quirks have started. I'm playing a test match against the Windies, and so am saving each session of play. Everytime I load up the game to continue from my last spot, and play the first ball (hit or missed or left) and it doesn't go for runs, the Umpire signals legbyes, but (at least) with no addition to the score. This is amusing, and not a problem - because it seems to at least keep the score properly.

But this morning I found another issue. Having made a hard fought (for some reason I just couldn't time Bradshaw) 294 in the first innings, I wrapped up the Windies for a measly 87. But it will not allow me to force the follow-on.

I've been in the situation before (first game of the series vs the Windies A) and that worked fine.

Anyone else experienced this? Any idea on how to fix it? Excuse me if I'm not timeous with responses - I play rarely, so I will only be able to try your suggestions at intervals, and then only post responses in a similar time frame.

I'm using Tutsi's 2.1; and the game is set on hard. :help

follow-on can be forced only if there's a difference of 200 runs between ur team's total and opposition's total in a 5 day game where as its 150 runs in 3 day games

Aaah. I was under the impression it was as a percentage of total. Good to know - thanks.

See ... bloody program is stuffed.

Actually - didn't matter. I batted and made a further 250 odd, and declared - giving me 2 days to bowl them out chasing 400+ ...

115 from Gayle made me sweat a bit, but they fell far short of the total ...

Incidentially, the next match had the greatest sight I have ever seen. Ntini took Lara's off stump out of the ground, dead-on, middle of the stump and it flew out of the ground like a prostitute being chased by the cops. I think I may actually have cried ...
