[HELP] How Do You Repair Corrupted Save Files?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how to repair corrupted save files. the reason I made this topic was because I didnt think that it cud be done however I saw on another topic that it was possible. So if anyone knows cud they pls help me.

which file is corrupt? the .cap or the .sav?

The .CAP file. It is 0kb and it should be the same size as my .SAV file

open the .sav file in notepad, copy all of it and open .cap in notepad and paste in in theree. when you open the save file itll say something about recovery and then its fine, it just goes back 1 save.

You seem to be over-emphasising the non-likelihood of a fix. It happened to me, and I emailed Childish Things about it. They asked for the file, I sent them it, and they returned it in working order. Very nice about it too. Go to their website, theres a contact page.

you gotta be kidding me, i had a file which didnt work ages ago and never thought about useing the other file!!!! i deleated it like a fool!!!!

hehe i did that a wehile ago too. but i (have 2 saves) looked at the other other two files (my aussie .cap and .sav files) and saw they carried the same data. so i gave it a burl and hey, i can still use my lancashire file

cheers for your help. I edited it in Notepad and it works. Im so glad i got it back bcos i have a bowler called Townsend that averages 10 point sumfing with the ball and always takes 5-6 wickets every game. Thanx again
