Help (lost manual)

Uh....thanks very much for the apparent 'help', folks....I own Shane Warne's Cricket and Cricket 2002...and had I known these forums existed (2004 was the first one I had problems with of any significance that I wanted to ask questions about) before now, the same questions would've been posted.

I don't know how many people post here (and I frankly don't care) with 'lost manuals' or whatever, but I paid for and got an official copy of the game and have had it on my game since I got it in December. I have both 2002 and 2004 on my HD, and so I said six months...what, none of you have ever lost track when you installed a game?

I DEEPLY resent the suggestion that I was lying about my questions, and I'd expect some better and hopefully more MATURE treatment on a supposed forum for discussing game issues than what I've gotten here.

I'm really sorry that some people have abused the privilege of the game and caused you all such skepticism, but I came to ask questions in good faith. I can only hope that any responses after this are treated in kind.

I might get "flamed" for this but here goes...
You got to understand that there are a lot of dead beats out there, and the apparent holes in your story doesn't help you either.
Your first comment about having the game for 6 months really didn't help you. Also, I own the UK version of the game and the Registration key is on the manual itself, so when you say you don't have a problem sending your key/product id to EA is hard to believe, unless the Aus version is different or you wrote it down(Which I don't think any one would do...). I am pretty new to this forum and one thing that I know is that most people here are very nice and helpful.

I know that you appear upset by the way you have been treated. However, you must realise that these places get a lot of people who harm the gaming market through piracy. For that reason basic questions will often get the sort of response that your question got.

When you say you expect some more MATURE answers, I think that it is fair to say that by not giving responses to people who are involved in piracy as has happened in other threads or people who through the questions being asked people assume may not have the original game is very mature. It shows that people in this forum care about the gaming market and do not stand for those who are not willing to pay for computer games.

I am sure people are sorry if you feel that you have been treated poorly but people on these forums are only looking after the best interest of the gaming industry and trying to make the game as enjoyable and playable for as many people as possible who have purchased the game. This is surely a very mature attitude for people to take.

I hope you do not take this the wrong way, but you surely must understand why people were scepticle.

Solas, you needed help I gave you help...it would have been better if you never showed up again on this thread.

And now, I really wish if there were any admins out here who can clse this thread...I think it is all over, I don't think Solas needs to know anything else...all we will have in this forum is people pointing and Solas of what he had said earlier.

Look, I'm sorry for giving people grief over this....I do have a registration key and all that....but I'm not crazy enough to put it on a forum just to prove to skeptics that I have one. And anything I did put up could be dismissed as just more of my 'story'. Out here (and I don't know if it differs from state to state) but my registration key was put on the back of the CD case (I believe it was the same on 2002, correct me someone if I'm wrong...)

I'm happy to apologise to anyone I offended through my actions, but I also did get constructive and useful help from those who did respond. That'll be the last post you get from me on this, and hopefully any other comments or questions I have will be more game-related, so I can see how poorly I might play.
