Help with running and bowling

Hi guys. Am checking out the demo and enjoyed what i have seen so far. But have encountered a few problems. Firstly how do I run. I have tried every conceivable button but nothing happens. Also on the bowling front whenever I bowl its always a slower ball which is very annoying. What am I doing wrong?

As far as i remember, button 3 is run (default keyboard config is numpad 8) which is also slower ball with a fast bowler, button 1 will do a normal delivery (keypad 2). Other keypad buttons (4 + 6) do leg and off cutters.
