Hidden folders prob...

I m having a problem with my hidden files and folders....

When I select show hidden files and apply the settings its fine...But no hidden stuff appears!
But when I go back to the settings screen both of them are selected..
I.E. Show hidden files and Dont show hidden fiels...Any help??

That seems wierd. Since it is a radio button only one option is allowed to be selected.

Try this

1] Click Start -> Run and type regedt32.

2] Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
On the right hand side double click on Hidden and set its value to 1.

3] Press F5 to refresh.

Now you should be able to view Hidden files and folders.

No, I havent done any courses.
I have acquired most of the knowledge related to computers and programming through the internet.

Registry is actually pretty fun to play with, i remember how i accidentally turned aero on in the registry on my MX 4000 :laugh
