Hitting Sixes.

HOW DO YOU DO IT? I can hit 4s but how do you hit 6s. Even with the six hit button, on full confidence, I can't get the ball to really fly through the air for 6. Is there a specific shot that always renders 6s? Thanks :help

You have to time it right, press and hold the 6 button just as the bowler looses the ball from his hand, aslong as you time it right it should fly through the air to the back of the stand.

How do u hit boundaries on ODI

Almost everytime I hit the ball in the air, it goes to the fielder and if I hit it along the ground, it goes straight to the fielder. In test matches I'm able to hit both boundaries n sixes but in One Day Cricket, It seems extremely difficult. Please tell me how to time it and plz it should be something real cuz I've tried almost all the tips on the forum and they dont work for me atleast.

just figure it out and use your INITIATIVE.

the best shots I find are.
1. Dance down the wicket and a play a lofted on drive. To do this the ball needs to be outside off and just on a good length. Press the advance button as the ball leaves the hand.

2. Same shot but hit it over square leg instead. This time the ball needs to be on or outside leg stump.

3. Slog sweet Steve Waugh. Just sweep it with the six hit button.

lofted cover drive is good. if u advance down the wicket at jus the rite point it goes for six but u always get a four at least. do it to a fairly full ball ouside off stump,length works to.

Have to admit Im very similar, having a very hard job to score any sixes. Fours arent so bad but sixes in ODI's are getting to me a little.

Ironic eh? Most of my fours come off the backfoot anyway. But occasionally i advance down the wicket and cover drive one.

u r all obviously idiots...........just hit sixes over mid on or mid wicket , once u get ur 1st hundred doing this u will realise the game is flawed and will soon be 700-1 and wish u COULDNT hit sixes

I still have only ever hit two sixes, one with Hayden and one with Martyn.

Whenever I try the six hit shot, it always becomes a defensive shot.
