How do I set autoplay for bowling?

Need help please, autoplay is not highlighted when I choose options, it is there but cannot select it. grateful for any help, cheers.
Should have mentioned before, playing on PC.

When the bowler is ready to bowl, go to the menu and press Autoplay. There are some times, like during replays etc that you can't select autoplay but most of the time you should be able to.
