seriously i dont know...i was bowling wit bhaju and the ball went straight any tips?

Seeing as I don't have the game, I have no idea. But doesn't it say in the manual which buttons you press for different kinds of spin?

i am still working on it, every one i have talked to with cricket 2004 they cant spin and swing the ball and i am no different.

I don't have the game yet, but is it because you need favourable pitch/ball conditions before you can spin/ swing the ball

e.g. need dusty tracks or an older ball to get loads of spin or green/overcast conditions to swing pronouncely ?

Andrew said there is reverse swing in the game - normally need a fairly old ball for this - has anyone seen it yet ?

I played Newzeland on a green track Wasim Akram and Mohommad Sami had them all out for 120 with 9 of the batsmen getting out behind the stumps four of them caught behind and rest in the slips or at point.

Where as my match against Australia was on dusty pitch with no swing at all, but after 35th or 40th over Wasim and Shoib started to dip the ball at the last moment towards the leg stump maybe that is the reverse swing.

Various degrees of spin can be obtained by pointing the ball pointer (not the one on the pitch) to the extremeties of the ball. For a right armed off-spiner for example, you would get the most spin by pointing the ball cursor to the top-right of the seam. For less spin you would point it more to the left etc...

You can experiment with these in the practice nets.

Thanks for pointing out. Hope this solves everyone's problem.

Sounds like a pretty basic thing though.
