How to guage the Ball Speed?

Its been quite sometime now, since i started playing this game, but i am unable to guage the speed of the ball, a fast bowler/medium pacer bowls :crying
Ppl like Abdur Razzaq bowls at 98kmph
The problem i face is, the bowling speed meter shows max power for both 98kmph ball & 60kmph ball :crying
someone please help me out on how to identify the speeds of the balls :upray

This was an unfortunate bug with the game that due to us being unable to edit gameplay can't be solved.

Theres not an awful lot anyone can do, apart from the following tips:
If its max power on the bar, just assume its the faster ball.
If its not max power, be very careful how you play it, you will probably end up mistiming it and edging it (particularly with medium pacers)
If the special bar is full, you can guarentee the cpu will use it in one of the next 2 balls. Assume its going to be a straight yorker, its the most dangerous.

Gotcha!!!

There is a special ball bar at the bottom left of the screen.

The two special balls are a 60mph bouncer and 60mph yorker...both are very slow but the reason they are deadly is that they chenge to either a bouncer of a yorker after he releases it.

that's the point, if you could identify special balls it would be too easy. just as soon as the meter's is full, the AI is going to use one soon.

personally, i think the fact that you cant tell when it's a slower ball is a good thing, it give the bowlers a chance. the batting on the game is already really easy so it means that batsmen do get out every so often if there are some elements of the gameplay that you cant read exactly. if this wasnt the case with special and slower balls the game would be pointlessly easy.

I can see what you mean, it does add an element of difficulty in. However, is it realistic that Shoib Aktar bowls one at 104.5 mph, then follows up with a 39.9 mph bowl? I'd much rather be undone by good bowling. Meh, I suppose cricket games are never going to be perfect.

Try waiting about a second to see what ball it is. I used this on my mates copy of the game and did alright I suppose.

Doesn't work that well on Test mode, by the time you've recognised what speed it is, if its a fast ball it will be past you
