ok.....i'll try to explain it in as simple as i can.
below there r two screensshots of 2 different shots played by the batsman.
on the left the batsman is playing a frontfoot defensive shot.
on the right he is playing an ADVANCED frontfoot defensive shot.
the BIN(animation) file of the front foot shot is fdef.bin (left screenshot)
but when this fdef.bin is combined with the advance.bin file , the outcome is the advanced frontfoot defensive shot (right screenshot)
but the animation of the 2 defensive shots are different. forget the steps taken by the batsman in the advance defensive shot. but the way or style of swinging the bat is different in both the shots but the animation is comming from the same fdef.bin file. this thing has really confused me.
for an experiment. i renamed the file fdef.bin (frontfoot defence) with bdef.bin (backfoot defence) the result was a standing (batsman not not takes the 2 steps) defence shot (3rd screenshot) which was similar to the advanced front foot shot.
now i want to replace the standing frontfoot shot (3rd screenshot) with the not so good looking regular frontfoot shot. the file fdef.bin is the same for both the shots.
i know this is really confusing but if u read it one more time u'll get the whole concept.
so what should i do.
plz guys help a person exploring new thigs in the gam....maybe it can open a few secrets of the game and introduce new things.
