I must say i was please with the decision announced yesterday night at around 2330 hours IST.
OK i've never seen him Captain before, good luck

.
He captained one match against England in 2002.That was ofcourse and ODI,he did win it.
Great!! I always wanted him as the captain, and feel, he's the most deserving person to be so
He should have got it when Tendulakr first stepped down, seeing as he[Kumble] was the vice-captain then.
No. Tendulkar declined, but in seperate interviews, Laxman, Harbhajan Singh, Dhoni AND Kumble all said they would have liked to captain.
They should have gone in for him then
:boxing
Jumbo! :happy I expected this one too to happen and it happened! He is the only Indian bowler currently which i have huge respects and he deserves to be a captain.
But, one thing, he won't be a aggressive captain( aggressive not in terms of bowling but in terms of captaincy)...Likely to be Dravid like captaincy, but but, he has huge respect from all the players in the team. So, i wish him to succeed well.
I don't know about his aggresiveness as a captain cause i rarely follow Indian Domestic cricket.Well,he becomes the third spinner after Srinivas Venkatraghvan and Bishen Singh Bedi to lead India.
Well, the interesting fact that one must take note of here is-whenever a spinner has captained India, something great ahs always happened.
Bedi, well he called off an India-Pakistan match.
Venkat-The evolution of the spin-quartet.
I expect something great from the Jumbo and as he says-it has motivated me further.
Look out Pak and Aus.Start :hpraise
well ye kumble is a legend he is the best spinner india has ever produced but can he get that X-Factor back in the side which dhoni had brought in the ODI and the 20-20 WC??:what
Dunno what you mean by that though....
The Test Team needs no X-factor.We have always been better off in Tests.
For another,i did think that the selectors would go to Sourav Ganguly, but nevertheless a good decision.
