iPod artwork

I've signed up to iTunes Music Store and I have the album artwork in the 'Library' section of 'iTunes' but when I plug in my actual iPod it doesn't come up on my iPod even after I've copied the library into my iPod. How do you get the artwork on the actual iPod?

Say you keep all your music in files in your "My Music" folder, then get the album picture, put it into My Music then pick it up and put it over the music folder it corresponds with.

If this is correct AND each song is correct IE not downloaded, the picture should appear on the file, then go into itunes, then add file, then add it ,and hopefully once on your ipod it should show up, does with me anyways
