I was wonderin dat can there be patches made 4 ps2. I hav come up wid an idea.
EA can save their patches on a memory card. dey could sell cricket 2004 memory cards at a low price.
IS THIS POSSIBLE?

In a word NO.

Its not cost effective for them to do as they couldnt give a rats.

Hence why I changed from PS2 to PC

hmmm how about you get a modded ps2.. make an iso of the your game run the patch over it and then re-burn to a dvdr and bingo u have a patched game.....

You understand PS2 and PC are two totally different machines right?

its a little more complicated than that...if you were to just make a backup copy then yeah it be reasonabley simple...

Nah, it isn't. Wit PS2 It would just get boring, smashing the PC by 100's of runs each match, whle wit PC people make patches to overcome this problem

And other patches can be added to PC, while PS2 have to deal wit the bugs :D

Definately, with ps2 version, people will have to muster with bugs.On the other hand,in pc lot of bugs can be thrown into dust as some major bugs have been overcome by patches.

umm dude ps2 doesn't really have bugs.no major ones anyway.the line up editor which is useful if you ask me and the autoplay freezes very occasionally and all you have to wit dat is take the disk out and put it back in again.and squiz i don't find it boring.i can always make it hard for myself any way.

i agree with sachin i have both versions and ps2 is way better. At least it doesnt have the bug which sum player walks in the middle of the pitch, the rain bug and the game hardly ever stops unlike the pc version.

it is possible to make patches for ps2 games it has bween done with pro evolution iwth an x port

i have both versions of the game......the ps2 and the pc and i think that the pc is way better coz of the patches and stuff....
you can make changes along the way to make the game more difficult.
and besides, the game never crashes or stops running on my pc
