I've just bought this game help

I've just purchased this game, I havn't bought any of the previous versions and and was looking for some patches. From looking through these forums there seems to be lots of different updates from people, I assume there are no official updates?

What Im hoping to find is if there is a bug fix for the runout problem?

Also what patches are the best, im a bit lost with all these updates. Any patch that makes the cpu teams play more to real life would be good, like trying to be more positive in the first 15 overs and attack the last 10 etc

Depends on your opinion really, but tutsi's seems to be the most regularly updated

there is no fix for the runout bug but i feel i might have found out a way to fix it and a few other bugs in the game.
i am right now working on the byes bug in the game which i seem to have mostly fixed.

if someone fixes the run out bug can you modify it to leave it in when Inzamam's at the crease, for added realism

Run out bug is not fixed,

Runnig between wickets are poor as of INJAMAM. Let's Run out Injy.

please dont take this bug fix for certain there is still some testing left to do
as for the runout bug i have not yet created a patch but i have a theory that seems likely to work.

there seemed to be a great improvement in inzamams running in the indo-pak series
