Hi Ricky,
i have a strange problem with cricket 2004. i have the nvidia riva tnt2 model 64 card and the driver version is 2.05.12.03. While playing the game when i play a shot suddenly all of then dissapear and even the fielding radar shows only one fielder. I takes almost 5 min to restore to normal? do you face this problem? it happens once in 10 mins. If so what do i need to do..?? do i have to update my driver? which one? one in the TNT2 section of the page you pointed out?

B) yup this happens with me 2,

but there is no problem in the card ,it is only thta the game takes a lot of memory .

before playing the game u should try to this :

press ctrl+alt+del... then go in process and remove all the unwanted stuff
which is running on ur machine.
if ur running internet on dsl or broadband which means if ur connected to internet all the time ,then disconnect first ,cuz ur pc is always sending data and recieving data,which uses a lot of memory power ,

how much ram do u have ? try increasing ur page file if u have less ram .
and 1 more tip when ur in the game and u hang up like that again
just press esc and go to change feild if ur feilding or change camera if ur batting .this will help.

but i think it is a bug in the game ,a lot of people have this problem,

Thanks ricky. Ill try what you said. I have 256MB Ram. Has is got anything to do with LOD settings? strange thing is that it never happens in a Test match .

i also have the same 3D card with 160 mb of ram.

i've been posting a lot about poor graphics in the game but finally i set LOD to NONE and the game worked smoothly but with poor graphics. i think the LOD thing doesn't works with this card. is there any other way of getting good graphics?

and yea i also had the problem of fielder dissappering. do 2 things.
1. set LOD to NO coz it doesn't works in tnt2 cards.
2. RIGHT CLICK THE MAIN EXE FILE AND SET THE COMPATIBILITY TO WINDOWS 98 / WINDOWS ME.

trust me it worked and i never faced this problem after that.

i know u hate the game .but belive me if only we can fix the bugs .it will be a greatr game..
