that 'gam' file you are searching for is actually the savegame file and it is NOT located in your cricket 2002 folder. To use this editor you must have a save game file and then select the correct file from your my documents/Ea sports/cricket2002/user folder.

Cheers.

Well we can DEFINITELY play the sweep and the late cut...if you have the original version consult the manual or else i'll try makling a small guide for people like you :;):
I think that's the same with me too(never noticed the ugly umpire that closely) so it must be a problem in the game.

to sweep you have to press the 'front foot shot' key along with the up and right direction keys.It will depend on your key configuration. The controls are mirrored for a left handed batstam(ie, instead of up and right direction keys you will have to use the up and LEFT direction keys).

Hopes this clears up your doubt.

Cheers.

Front foot : Down arrow
Back foot : Up arrow
Power Boost : '0' key on numpad
Leg : 'D'
Off : 'A'
Back : 'W'

Well the sweep shot is finally working for me.

But the sweep shot i everytime going high in the air.
can't we play ground sweep shots and PADDLE SWEEP.
Similarly, can't I play ball high over the slips for 4 or 6 ?

To play late cut:

press 'down arrow'(frontfoot) along with 'a'(left side) and 'w'(up or back).

To play the paddle sweep avoid pressing the power button along with the key combination.

Cheers.

Thanx,

But my sweep shot still goes in the air, inspite of the changes I made using STROKE EDITOR, where I made the projectile of sweep shot to ground (zero).
Also I made other shot changes with the STROKE EDITOR, but did not noticed any difference.
What should I do now ???
Is that I don't know how to use the editor ?
Plz Help me !!! :( :(

Well you don't need to make any changes to the sweep...it will be played along the ground if only you would not press the power button.By the way, are you trying to sweep overpitched spin deliveries?

No I don't use power boost
I fact i have configured the power boost sweep to
reverse sweep by renaming as told by TUTSIPOPPY.
Reverse sweep also goes high in the air.

I play sweep to yoker and fulltoss balls only and on
many occassions i get caught out by the square leg player, which hurts me a lot.

Is there no shot that makes the placement of the ball nearly vertically behind the keeper without going in the air

If there is plz give me its KEYS .

Also cant I play reverse sweep without the ball going in the air.

I know only u can help me NOW, ritwik.

Thanks again
