How can you close down 2 threads about A Cartoon.

i mean can't people just chat about it (friendly chat)

i mean im taking offense that everyone thinks of it as nothing
i mean christians would you like it if jesus was in a cartoon and
he said something like i will blow up the world. if i was a christian
i wouldn't like it.

Two threads on this have been closed for the simple reason that any thread on religion nearly always leads to arguments, as many people are not mature enough to discuss the topic in a calm and rational manner.

I think the fact we won't let it be discussed shows quite clearly that we do not consider it nothing. Don't mistake us not discussing it for us condoning it.
I've been reading discussion on this on some other forums and the amount of arrogant, ignorant and downright offensive comments I have read by both Muslims, Westerners and others have convinced me that this was the right decision. If you wish to discuss this further please PM me.
