So guys, after a long gap (of about 2-3 month), i played cricket. Actually due to election, Lots of BSF have arrived in my area. They approached our school and asked for some friendly matches. So we was having our first match today. It was a twenty over game. Sadly i had to play as
Wicketkeeper batsman due to absence of our keeper.
All of our team player were out of practice. We batted first and elected to bat first. The BSF were bowling too short pitch bowl. Our openers scored 80 in the first 10 overs. However, we soon faced collapsed and were reduced to 133 for 6 in the 15th over. However we managed to score 177 with the loss of 8 wicket. I scored 25 of 19 balls, was out while increasing the run rate. We thought it's a good enough total.
We were proved wrong and our bowlers started getting hammered all around. I felt happy, i wasn't one of them. The BSF reached 95 in their first 10 overs. They were smashing allaround. However soon we got our first wicket when they were 125. They needed 38 in last five over which they managed easily with 5 balls remaining.
Tbh i must say, it was a nice game. It was nice experience to play with those who are our saviours. We still have to play few more match with them. Will keep updating this.
