Denver Nuggets (2) vs. Dallas Mavericks (6)
The Mavericks have finally adjusted their offense to fit with the point-guard abilities of Jason Kidd but were still seeded only 6th in the competitive Western Conference. Led by Dirk Nowitzki, they knocked off the Spurs in 5 games. The Nuggets have had a great season after trading Allen Iverson for Chauncey Billups and look to have a championship core. Nuggets blew out the Mavs in game 1 and lead the series 1-0.

Odds
Mavericks: 7/2
Nuggets: 2/9

Players to Watch Out For
Dirk Nowitzki and Josh Howard lead the Mavericks' offense with 6th man of the year Jason Terry coming off the bench. Jason Kidd has been thus far disappointing running point but he is a true veteran and could shine at any time. The Nuggets have a strong starting line-up full of talent. Carmelo Anthony has finally got support in the front-court from Chauncey Billups and they've got the streaky-shooting J.R. Smith coming off the bench. They've got great shotblocking presence with Nene, Kenyon Martin and Chris Andersen dominating the backcourt.
