hi, i've been trying my level best in the practise nets but i just cant seem to time any of the advance shots(also their 6-hits).

i always seem to time them either too early, late or too late.

no matter what i do, i just cant time them perfectly.

guys, need help.

**Also, what is the ideal line n length for playing different advance shots?

As a cricketer (not saying what county i play for ) u need to time the shots also watch the bowling meter why not play in easy mode for a bit and gradually move up a mode .

hey tutsi,

the best timeto play the advance shot when the ball meter is almost full, as soon as the bowler releases the ball press the advance key and the direction , i have hit many fours and six, and sometimes got caught......jus give it a try.......

thnx, that helped in timing the ball 2-3 times outta 30. well i do need to practise a lot on my advance shots.

but in doing so, i perfected many of my other 6hit strokes. it was actually good to spend 15-20 minz in the practise nets.

earlier i used to think tht practise nets are a waste of time. but now all that has changed.

specially the feature where u can set the line n length of the bowler (although it doest works that well wth the original configs, but with my batting file, it works very well.) so that u can practise a particular shot of tht area.

now, for me, it'll be a good idea after every 1-2 matches to spend 15-20 minz in the nets and practise some hard to time shots.

For me, I can manage to get the front foot and back foot shot on the dot...why? because I use my middle finger for both. Ergo, because your middle finger is longer than your pointer you will have a better reaction time to the ball. If you can place the 'advance shot' button on a key that comes in contact with your longest finger, your timing should be better. I usually do it on the 'x' key.

Also, I usually hit the button right after, or right when the ball hits the ground.

try to hit the ball when it is pitched as soon as the ball pitches try to hit the ball it always works for mee

Wow, you seem like the perfect guy to have around 2 years after the event!

Just looking through this thread I thought this post was brilliant
