Need help with World of Warcraft Close this thread plz

I just got and game and its version is 1.0 now when I want to connect it to a server it says wrong game version I will have to update it to the latest one. Now the question is can I directly update it to version 2.4.x or I will have to update it number wise like 1.1 to 1.2 etc. Plz help me.

it depends are you playing on wow server or private if wow then u login in your account thats all then the update will start buy itself but if u want to do it by yourself then go this site http://www.wowwiki.com/Patch_mirrors
