New Basketball

I'm suprised this isn't up, but I read in my newspaper that the NBA has issued a new regulation basketball which isn't made of leather (First time in 35 years, has only been done once before in 60 years).
Seems Shaq hates it, thinks it is like "those cheap ones you buy is stores -Indoor/Outdoor balls"

I'm not bad at it either. I'm not very good at shooting but I'm alot better at dribbling the ball and tackling too.

looks to be a pritty good design and decent looking ball,a downside might be less grippy since its not leather though.

Looks like a pretty good design for the ball, hope that people will still manufacture the classic basketball design too.

For all those that care, the NBA have reverted back to leather after complaints by the players that the new balls were hard to grip and cutting their hands. They also felt it wasn't fair of the NBA to change the ball without consulting them.

Thats gonna cost Spalding a fortune, I bet they aren't best pleased.

They actually claimed they got cuts resembling paper cuts as the game progressed.
