Newbie, help needed!!!!

Installed the game yesterday..My PC configuration is:

Processor: AMD k6-II (475 MHz)
OS: Windows 2000(with service pack 3)
Graphics card: Jaton Riva TNT-2 Series 32MB SDRAM PCI with DVD
Memory: 256MB RAM
Hard Drive: 50GB free

I have also installed the DirectX drivers that came along with the CD.

The introduction runs fine but when the menu comes up the mouse does not seem to move and the sounds does not play good. The game in general becomes frustratingly slow.

Is my processor too slow for this game? My PC fulfills the minimum requirements. Is there some problem with my sound card? I seem to have all the latest drivers for my sound and graphics card.

Please help me..I am very disappointed...

ur processor is too slow!
and the graphic card is also quite old....
try to get more ram and a better graphic card if possible!!!

I don't think his problem is with the RAM or even with the graphics card. I think its all got to do with your processor and possibly, windows 2000.

runs like a dream on my roommate's 2000, he has a better processor though...gosh i have to change my processor.....
