No more "DLF" IPL

Not surprising. The BCCI rates are too high. In fact ,a global powerhouse like Sahara had commented upon it-during the time when they backed out of the Pune franchise.

Secondly, Airtel & Nokia too have pulled out of the ICC CT.Though, one may argue that the CT is the property of CA, UCBSA & BCCI. The going rates are way too high.

Also, I am not sure if many are aware of the TV rights issue with Nimbus. Nimbus -added to the list will make it around 5 major corporates backing out of the BCCI in a span of 2 years.

More than anything else, there needs to be a proper governance structure in place for the board. What I'd really like to see-is the back of goons like Srinivasan and Pawar. Bring in proper administrators, get a CEO to start with.:mad

That'd be good.

Pepsi IPL!

God, so no Cococola associated with IPL, what means Pepsi/Dew are sold in stadiums. Dew is there, something nice:).

Pepsi IPL, doesn't sound as good but they probably give more sponsor money

Don't think it will be named Pepsi IPL. I believe PepsiCo as a combined unit having bid for the IPL, it may as well feature a variety of Pepsi's sub-brands.
