thanks for answering squiz but you never said were the post was to solve the six hit prob and ive looked on 14 pages so far....i have a sidewinder gamepad but the no4 button does not work when i hit it nor does the keyboard even if remapped....i went to the sites you stated but never saw the answer there either ..i guess i must be looking in the wrong area

ok i saw that post ricky as ive seen others on here about it but as i said i see no solution for it there ..the only suggestion on it was to update drivers and at least 4 people replying had the same prob with diff gamepads ...i also canot even get the six hit key to function on the keyboard....so clearly this is an ongoing prob with various set ups...im surprised they released this game in the uk knowing there were these probs without bringing out a fix for it

hi ricky okies ati radeon display card 7200 yah its old but had no trouble with it so far with newer games etc....cat 4.3 drivers.....wind 98 se ...mother board is abit kd7-g ...amd athlonxp 2600+.....512 ram...microsoft sidewinder pro....trust keyboard ....direct x 9.0b ....i have no prob with mvp baseball or errr beyond divinity demo or call of duty etc etc which are fairly newish....i dont really understand why so many people are having this sort of prob judging by the posts as all have diff machines or diff gamepads etc and as mine doesnt work on the keyboard either nor will it work if remapped ..its rather odd as the other keys are okies...id have thought a fix would be out by now as a lot seemm to have this prob thanks for any help you can provide im aware the other guy got angry for some odd reason but he never said how to fix it ...just to look at other posts of which there wasnt a solution....unless i missed it somewere...ive also reinstalled it 2 times ...also tried default settings

B) look does ur system detect ur game pad ,

if yes in the game ,and ur having problems only in hitting sixes right?

other then that can u play all the shots properly?

hi rick yes my system does detect the gamepad and i can use the button 1.2.3 but when it comes to button4 the six hit it just says i havnt played a shot etc ....i just shoulder arms same with the keyboard designated key .and remapping the gamepad or keyboard has no effect ...i can choose any key on keyboard or keypad but it wont recognise the six hit ...which is bad news in a 1 day game lol ...if cant hit the big shot...hope anyone has an idea on this but i doubt it or it would have been solved in previuos posts i guess huh thanks rick

Sometimes the game asigns different button numbers.

ie. In the game what is button 1, is actually button 0, and so on.

I had a similar problem with gamepad. There are 2 solution for it, both cost money but not much.

1. Try buying a game controller with old gameport socket instead of usb. I bought recently a Cyber Multemedia 8 button gamepad for 200Rs. ( 4-5$).
It works magnificiently.

2. If you have a playstation gamepad , it can be used to work on computer through parallel port., all it needs is a simple soldering skills. I once bought that for 300Rs. It worked well for 3 years.

Or you could get one of the adaptors that are now available.

thanks for input andrew but the six hit doesnt work on any button on the gamepad of which there are 7 not including the left/right look buttons nor will it remap to any keyboard button ive tried 12 on the keyborad so far lol...but the other buttons for 0.1.2.3 work fine for front foot defence advance etc ....just button 4 six hit doesnt nor does it remap ...so at a loss really like the guy was in previous recent post ...thanks jeetu a diff gamepad huh but any ideas why no work on keyboard also jeetu
