The Eagles earn promotion off the back of Babar Azam's exceptional 132*, paving the way for a 70-run triumph for the home team. Babar Azam propelled the Eagles to a competitive total, with Tristan Stubbs and Saad Nasim playing supporting roles and no other batter chipping in with a noteworthy knock. The Bulls' attack lacked venom, and despite that, they found a decent amount of success against a batting lineup with a faltering local contingent.
In pursuit of the 298-run target, the Bulls folded over for 227, with Mitchell Starc and Reece Topley dealing the bulk of the damage with the ball. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kane Williamson, and Sam Billings, all vital cogs of the Bulls lineup, found starts, but none could convert them into anything of greater significance.
