PES 2008 Comp help

Hello.

Yesterday I decided to buy Pro Evo Soccer 2008 for my laptop, it is the PC Version.

I have got home, and installed it, I have come to play and when I go onto button configuration It says its and Xbox controller :eek:

I have tried changing it, but it just stays on the Xbox controller settings, so I started a game and I can't even move a player because its the Xbox Controller settings.

Can some one help me?

it cant be it has a setting.exe(where you change games res and etc) file where you can change the contoller
i mean it gives option x box controller and there you will find buttom pic lkeaAX etc they give there specific key of keyboard
as i know
d for cheap,a for shot, w for through pass, e for run etc

First of all, check that your controller works, try this:
Go to Control Panel
Click "Hardware and Sound"
Click "Game Controllers"
A window should pop up showing the name of the controller(s) you have plugged in
Double click the name of the controller
Press a few buttons and make sure it works

If that all goes properly, then you should be able to use your controller in PES - on PES5/6 you have to click a drop down list on the "Player 1" tab on the settings thing and select the controller, then assign the buttons.

By the way, if I remember correctly, that settings thing I am on about is called "Settings.exe" in the PES2008 installation folder.

Will a PS2 Controller do?

Do I even have to have a controller to play it? Is there no way I can play with my arrows on the keyboard?

ya you can play arrow and key boards
defult key config
arrow keys for direction
w to through pass
a to shot
e to sprint
d to chip
probly x or c for dribble

I love it on a Keyboard, just use E - Sprint W - Through Ball A - Shoot D - High Ball X - Normal Pass EQZ - Dive, Q - L1 E - R1

Is there any way that I can use the high graphics setting for PES 2008?
CPU Intel 2.6 GHz , RAM 768 MB , Nvidia 6600 GT Graphic card.

Hey can anyone help me in NFS MW. I know this not the thread but I don't want to create new thread. The problem is
I use some editor but now the bounty in the career is in minus( - ) i-e "-774,694,224"
Please help me because I am in 3 position and only bounty is left to done.
