PlanetCricket Battrick Championship - Round Six Fixtures and Results

The inaugural season of the PlanetCricket Battrick Champions League has arrived! With the winners of the previous competition entered they are early favourites but have a tough task at the top with new-comers Strong Arm Steady sure to push them all the way. This competition boasts teams of all levels representing many countries around the BT globe and it promises to be a cracker! Enough beating around the bush here are the fixtures for the fourth round (Sunday, 7th September 2008).

Division 1

Murderers v DeViLiSh AnGeLs - Murderers won by 221 runs
Strong Arm Steady v Everton (ste_mc_efc) - Everton won by 69 runs
Assassins v Old Wulfs - Assassins won by 323 runs

Division 2

Bushwackers v Rabbitohs - Rabbitohs won by 8 wickets
Sri Krishna Team v The Monkeys!!! - The Monkeys!!! won by 7 wickets
The Falcons v BFN Bombers - The Falcons won by 113 runs

Division 3

Hampton Central CC v Wales CC - Hampton Central CC won by 8 wickets
Baggy Blues v Norfolk N Chance - Baggy Blues won by 10 wickets
The Palab Tigers v Fighting Mongooses - The Palab Tigers won by 14 runs

Division 4

Greenbank v Verizon Java Kings - Greenbank won by 12 runs
Broady v HuntingTigers - HuntingTigers won by 4 wickets
Mental Blank v Raiders Eleven - Raiders Eleven won by 19 runs

Division 5

AP v Ross XI - AP won by 72 runs
Hubbas v Crusader - Crusader won by 10 wickets
Gamer XI v St Michele CC - Gamer XI won by 10 wickets

Division 6

Aamirs Rockers v Muireston - Muireston won by 60 runs
The Sweet Spinners v Karnataka Kites - Karnataka Kites won by 10 wickets
Cantonese Conquerors v Fiery Bullets - Cantonses Conquerors won by 10 wickets



Just a reminder that the home team that must make the challenge, if they have not made it by Thursday, we ask that the away team make the challenge, there will be no postponement of games, if one team fails to make a challenge or arranges another friendly, they will forfeit the game. Please note that you have signed up for a championship which will run for 10 weeks minimum - 11 for the top of the table finishers in Div 1 - so please be free!

Challenges can be made anytime before that game, bar international one's which cannot be made on Sunday's or Monday's. Myself and Jaz will check the fixtures on Thursday to ensure that the game's are in place - but please do not hesitate to post if you have challenged someone - if they are not, we will be in contact with the home team manager to try to correct this, but please on Thursday the away team should challenge their opponent in any case.
