Can we not have the thread owners given the privileged to create and delete poll?

That will simplify things

It is a good idea but it will surely create many problems further, so it is better to have PC threads remain the same.

I'd like to, but the permission system for polls puts deletion in with editing. So if everyone could remove polls, you'd also be able to edit the results.

So for that reason it is a mod only thing.

Hmm, one question. Does fantasy cricket staff and vBookie staff Poll editing/deleting previlliages?
If no, I suggest to give them so that the response can be quicker.

One suggestion here, why don't we allow even them to edit/delete the polls?
When the users with that tags are reliable, why don't we give them even these previlliages. The response would be quicker right?

And one more thing what I suggest is a "Poll editing thread" (this thread could be it) where all requests for Poll changes are to be done, instead of VMing/PMing some moderator/staff member. The one with poll editing previlliages online does it in minutes, whereas if a user VMs/PMs a mod, he needs to wait till that particular user comes online.

I get like 1 message a month about removing a poll, it's a limited issue at best.

If you want to remove a poll, just use the post report button on the first post in the thread, with the report stating that you want to remove the poll. Any moderator for that forum who is online will be able to see that and can remove the poll for you.

Or just give a mod online that is able to moderate that section a message or something.
