problem with gob file

i updated to 3.0a a while ago now and revently istalled sams exe file. but i want to put on 7.0 but when i uninstall version 3.0a it tells me i have the wrong gob file version. it happens when i uninstall it using the 3.0 uninstall file too.

any ideas?

Uninstall your game, then install it again. Don't worry about your saved games, and you profile because you can select to keep them or not.

If you have backed up the original GOB file, you can just replace the updated GOB with the original GOB.

That is always the problem isn't it? People tend to forget.
