Problem with Test Matches

Just got the game, and launched into a test match between Eng & Ban. Both 1st innings gone, no problem. Then as I start my 2nd innings, the players in my team have been changed back to the default team that is given to you before the start of the match! :OOO:

This means that I cannot play a test match through with the team that I selected. I have the PS2 version, so it can't be patched. Have I done something wrong, or is this a big fault in the game?

Please help!

it only changes when u load a saved game........so maybe finish one test in one go......autoplay......half the match and play half...........its a problem...in all the matches..........hope there is a solution

This is very bad news, how on earth could they release the game without fixing this?

Does this happen in the PC version as well, or is it just the PS2 version of the game? When you reload a saved game has the pitch wear also dissapeared like it did in Cricket2002?

This happens in PC version as well,as many others have complained.

sometimes i wonder if they do it deliberately to watch all the users get frustrated and go postal.

oh my god i dont mind any of the other complaints as they were minor ones, but please tell me this isnt true! How could they over look such a easy simple and basic aspect of the game???

*prays this isnt really true*

is there anyway round this for ps2 owners?

im currently awaiting the arrival of my copy from dvdcrave but that bug has put me off it :(

I just tried the PS2 game and unfortunately the same thing happened to me. Despite what others have said, i think the game is big improvement on cricket2002, the graphics are improved and the game play much better but its's bugs like this that ruin the game. This means that unless you stick with the default team then you cant play a test match unless you play it all in one go.

Will it be possible to fix this on the PC game with a patch?

I guess you could edit the default XI to the team you want to play with, and then it will always revert to the same thing (so you wont notice any difference).. Seems like an awful bug though... Is it possible for a patch to be made to stop it????

NOOOOO! It just happened in a world cup final - single innings match as well! I think it's disgraceful that the game has been released with such a major flaw. Shame on you, HB Studios.
