problem with unique face patch

i downloaded the unique face patch and installed according to the instructions.
i even ran teh facefix patch and intalled and loaded teh new roster.
but the game still crashed after the coin toss.
has anyone installed this successfully?
any help appreciated, thanks.

I suggest you have read through the official thread as most common problems are dealt with in there. Was there an error message when it crashed as it could be that you didn't install the 4GB bat pack as well.

Can you remember the extension on the file name? If it was .big you've not installed the unique face patch correctly and if it was .fsh you're using a 4GB bat pack roster without the bats installed.

it was a big file,
so do i have to install the game again.
can u tell me how to install the unique face patch and the bat pack.

The instructions in the readme are pretty good. Just make sure the faces.bat file runs as that is the one that extracts the faces to your root directory.

when i try to extract the unique face patch the dos screen says "error"
make sure you have placed this batch file under the data folder"
what is this batch file? and i did extract it to the data folder

i think i have figured it out, i just didnt realise u had to extract the ms dos batch file.

It should do it all automatically when you run the exe but otherwise run the .bat manually.

i have the same prob how do i find the .bat and run it manually?

with the 4gb batpack i done everything it sed wen it sed run unique face pack i done it pressed extract and then it sed .batpack summin c:/EA CRICKET 205 could ot be found or the name has been typed wrong

wen i go on data on my root directory thers loads of big files

The .big files should be in your root not in the data folder. The .bat file should be in the data folder.

I cant understand why everyone is having similar prob's.The batch file was made so that installtion could be easier,it seems to have made things tougher

Just copy the face.bat file to the data directory and run it. I had the same prob too.

now that i figured out the problem, i think the readme file is lacking information, especially for ppl who are not pc professionals.

It has the instructions for manual install in it but the installer is set up to install automatically so it shouldn't be a problem.
