Problem??

hi guys,
can anyone help me , whenever i try to open the game it shows me logo of cricket2005 and then a blank screen and after that came back to the desktop. that means game doesnot working. is it a problem with my drivers or anything else and aso tell me from where i can update my this Nvidia Driver.

buddy....there is no problem with ur nividia geforece drivers...and no need for updating....
all u need is Directx...u can download it from www.microsoft.com
when u colplete the installition restart ur computer....thas all....have fun playin

I guess some background services are interfering. I had this problem when !Xspeed was running.

well i already got latest directx so problem is not there.
i try to shut every thing possible but utill game is un playable.
just cick on easyinfo2.exe and find that:

I think you're going to need a card that's at least the equivalent, in terms of modernity, of a GeForce 2. I seriously doubt that the old Riva TNT will work with this game. If you can help it I would advise against buying an FX 5200 (sorry to anyone using one). I had one once as the default card in a machine I bought and boy did it suck! What's your budget? I'm sure we can find you something better for similar money.

Well... yes... there are dozens of them. As I said, knowing what kind of budget you're working with would really help narrow it down. After all, a GeForce FX 5200 will cost ?30 while a Radeon X850 XT PE will cost ?300, for example. Both will work. One will still work in five years, the other will make a nice ornament for the bottom of your rubbish bin five years hence.
