Problems with C2002 Editor - An error !!!!

Whenever I start the cricketEditor.exe file extracted from the winzip file an error :

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on ok to terminate the application.

I have WinXP professional. Does anyone else have this problem ....... ???????

this is a .NET app so it might need the .NET runtime. I dont know if XP comes with the latest .NET runtime.

This file is available in the MISC section on this site, but before run that you would need to download a 20+ MB .NET file from download.com....... I am not sure if it works & so it could be a waste of time.......

yes the editor does work, but a newer/better version is comming(i'm the one who wrote the thing)...
as for that error thing, it seems that you need to download dotnetfx.exe and install that

anyway the new version fixes a number of bugs and add a couple of other things changed to make it easier to use

it says that an "xyz.dll" file is missing.I don't think its a VB runtime file.{its name is not xyz,something else which i have forgotten currently}.</span>
