PS3 Games help

Hi guys

I'm getting a PS3 very shortly and I just wanna know what games I should get. I could probably only get 4-5 games. I love my sport games and also games like GTA and shooters. Below is the list of games I have for ps2 if that might affect the games.

GTA San Andreas
Tiger Woods 2005

Edit: By the way, I've heard that a forthcoming firmware update for PS3 will give it the ability to be backward compatible and play PS2 games. Is that true?

I doubt they'd go back to backwards compatibility, but I've heard nothing on it.

You should have Fallout 3 in your collection, fantastic game. Killzone 2 is looking like a cracker, too.

Ok so I'll probably get Fallout 3 and COD. What sport games should I have? And also should I get GTA IV since I got Sna andreas on ps2?

60GB PS3's have backward compatibilaty but I don't think they make them anymore.

I'd go with CoD: WaW, Fallout 3 (If you're really these type of games), LittleBigPlanet (because it's class ), FIFA 09.

60GB PS3s aren't made any more. Can't say I've tested that many sports games on the PS3. Although np recommends one of the NBA games iirc.

Yeh, probably more tbh. If I was to cut it down to 5 I'd go with:

Metal Gear Solid 4
Little Big Planet
Fallout 3
Uncharted
Call of Duty 4

Those games will give you LOADS of play, both offline and on. There is a decent library of games for the PS3 now though, just need a few more quality exclusives.

Only thing with Fallout 3 is it is a little buggy. As you go more in to the game it gets worse, LBP is only ?18, you'd definitely recommend me getting it, then?

Oh yes definitely, it's one of the few PS3 games that's a must have. Really genuinely enjoyable. Fantastically colourful, brilliant fun, and tutorials from Stephen Fry. It's the best PS3 game so far, easily.

Madden 09, class game. If you like American Football, get it. If you don't, learn to like American Football.

Ok guys I went to the shop (Big W) and bought a 40GB PS3 for only $400! I only got fallout 3 as it was the only decent game I could afford!

Learn to like it? There are some sports that certain people will never be able to 'learn to like', such as most Americans would have a tough time falling in love with Cricket, just like us with Baseball. Personally, I could never learn to like American 'Football', and I have tried. I watched a large portion of both the matches that were at Wembley recently, but just couldn't get into it.
