Rain

hey, does anyone know how to fast forward through the rain, so as to speak. I was playing a test match and then rain came down. I was sitting there at my computer for 15 minutes and the rain didn't stop. Any remedies for this problem? I pressed all my control buttons, but nothing happened. It just kept raining. Does anyone have any suggestions and how long does the rain last.

That's a bug- if it goes for more than about 30 seconds it'll never stop

In c2k2 it wouldn't start in c2k4 it won't stop. Let's call it an over-correction.

I was having that rain prob. Someone here posted that if you leave the game running as it is (not press any keys or anything at all), the rain will eventually stop.

So I tried this. Test match in progress and the in-game time was 3.00 PM. Then it started raining, in-game clock starts in fast-forward, but stops at 4.45 PM.

There I left the game running as it is (not minimized) and the match resumed after about 25 minutes of real world time, while according to game clock, the time, when match resumed, was 4.50.

So does it mean that 1 minute of C2K4 = 5 minutes of real-world? Duh..wish Einstein was here! Methinks the grounds are infact black holes and are somehow warping the space-time fabric so that the time slows down. This is EA Cricket 3004 not 2004.

Makes any sense now? :

ur right ol timer, but there is no rain bug again 4 me. around 5 mins ago i was jus playin then rain came 30 mins after tea. the clock stopped at 7pm, rained for 20 mins real life time, then i resumed at 11 am the followin day. crazy!
