As there has been a LOT of confusion as to whether BLIC has real or fake names (including commentary of these names), the definitive answer is as follows

Licensed ICC Tournaments Real names are used. The commentators will call out the players names

All other game modes Fake names will be used. The commentators will not call out the fake player names. Instead will say 'the fast bowler' etc

The fake player names can be altered using the Player Editor

Finally there is a separate announcement in the BLIC forum and the FAQ in that forum has been updated as well so please, no more asking of this question !

I guess we will have to figure out a way to tweak the audio files, so that the commentators call out the real names in the other match modes too.

Have they mentioned anything about how the data files will be stored (I mean will be like in one gob file or in normal windows folders?)

So does that mean in non-ICC licenced tournaments we will be seeing this? :)
