Request to BA for online play

Hi BA,

Few things I would like point out here.. Make the standard controls equal to classic control there are many shots with the standard control which cannot be executed unlike classic control.. the sideways movements of cutters have to be reduced... It's like ball spinning at 140 KM's many a times.. forum to show how many online players playing at the moment.. shot behind the keeper on the leg side is way too easy to play and it takes away the balance between bat and ball.. at least in legend mode.. balls bowled outside off stump shouldn't be able to hit in leg side with easy for every ball,...

Not sure I've ever seen someone quote their own message in the same post... You truly are special.

Anyway, it's not broken it's just a simplified control scheme to make it easier for people. Similar to FIFA where you can remove all the bells and whistles and just pass or shoot.

Agreed. IMO they should rename the "Classic" control scheme to "Advanced" so it's easier for folks to understand that the "Advanced" control scheme is more comprehensive than the "Standard" one. "Classic" is a misnomer in the sense people assume it's a different control scheme but will have the same control functionality as the Standard one, when that isn't the case.

Absolutely. It's named poorly and that is the only 'bug'. Rename is Basic and Advanced or something to sort out any confusion.

If anything, the new control scheme is 'Classic' in that its hold a direction and press back/front foot shot like every cricket game before DBC.

To be fair to OP, no matter what they name the control scheme - it should not be a case where one control scheme just cannot play certain shots / play against certain type of deliveries. To me, it is a bug and should be fixed.

I guess there's two views. Mine is that its equal to FIFA's 2 button mode, and is simply labelled poorly. Plenty of games have a basic and advanced control scheme...

The other mode of thought is that the 2 design schemes should be equal and thus the inability to play certain shots is a bug...

Given BAs radio silence, we'll probably never know

What u mean by simplified some shots can't be played with standard control but with classic it can be played means it's broken
