Run Games in a windowed mode

I want to know if i there is way i can run games in a windowed mode.

Replies will be much appreciated.

Any game can be run in a windowed mode. You just have to edit the config file but the problem is in many games config files are not present in root.

Thanks hitty, i heard about something you have to do in the shortcut to get games to run in a window, does anyone know.

That thing does not work everytime..

You go to the shortcut, right click, and select properties.
In the Shortcut tab, there is a field, with the name : Run.
beside it, there is a drop down list showing
Normal window
Minimized
Maximized

just select Normal Window. and click on OK.

Like i said.. this thing generally does not work for 99% of the games.
This feature is basically suited for DOS Based applications.
