when a batsman is injured, he is given permission to take a runner in a match. Is he given permission to take another runner also when the first runner also gets injured and he is not in a position to run?

Thats a pretty tricky question.I would reckon that the umpires in the middle would be leninant enough to allow that.

Btw,are you asking these questions to us since you want the answers,or are you looking to test us with these?

I think he/she's looking for an answer....if not, the cricket quiz thread's the way to go! :p
But yeah, I doubt there're any laws prohibiting the use of replacement runners if the initial one genuinely has a problem.

The questions Ella Wilson has asked are some pretty good ones, but can't we just make one thread in this section of the forum for cricket queries? That way everytime someone has a question, he/she wouldn't need to make a separate thread everytime. In fact it would be nice to see all the answers. We could call it Andrew's corner :p

its interesting that she/he hasnt replied in any of the threads though, but for the sake of it, the answer is yes, the runner may be replaced
