Samsung T.V. 'Service Menu'

hi....well i've come with a lot of hope to find my answer over here coz i've searched the whole internet i wasnt able to find an answer.

Can anybody tell me as to how to access the "Service Menu" on my "Samsung Plano" TV?

I read somewhere that u have to.....

1. Turn TV OFF(i dunno what that ment, turn off the tv with remote? or by pressing the button which is on the TV?)

2. Press 'mute', 182, 'power' button.(again which power button?)

I've tried the above method and many different ways but no luck.

PLZ HELP ME GUYS.....ITS URGENT.

To be honest have no idea, but quite possibly one means put the TV on standby mode and 'power' button in 2) might refer to taking TV out of standby mode ?

Try contacting Samsung by Phone.

i did that...but they said that they are not allowed to give away the codes for the service menu.

BTW....i got to know the answer........

For the service menu....while the TV is on standby.........INFO,MENU,MUTE,POWER

WARNING : DO NOT.....and i mean do not even thing about changing anything u don't know about. I did that and now my TV is stuck on standby mode.

I'll be making a complain about it tomm. but eventually lie and won't tell them me fiddling with the service menu.

ya......a guy from samsung came today....changed the memory chip and now the tv is back again.
