Six Hit Button

Hi,

I have got the Australian version of Cricket 2004. The game seems to work fine but I am having problems getting the six hit button to work. I have tried the keyboard and a gamepad (Microsoft Freestyle Pro) and have remapped them both, but it still doesn't seem to work. Any tips/advice would be welcome.

The hit six button on a gamepad is working fine.
Maby you do handle it wrong. First, when the bowler begins to run, you push the hit six button and keep at pressed till after the shot. When the ball nears the batsman, you push the other buttons to select the shot.
I can hit the ball outside the stadium, it's marvellous to see it happen.
By the way, it's also a matter of good timing.

you have to hold down the six hit button then use your stroke button for it to work

but of course the ball will not go for six unless your timing is good. Otherwise it will be four, or even worse out.
