Your Cricket Sledging-Put some of your Favourites here

I'm more of a fan of the psychological sledging. Telling them they're under pressure, making them believe they're useless and giving the bowler encouragement instead of just saying stuff like "i rooted your mum last night"
My cousin does that. In gulli cricket. He counts the score out aloud in tight matches too, and applauds every delivery from the bowler when in the fielding side. Some batsmen (those who can actually bat) usually respond by counting the score themselves after they hit a boundary. Usually makes for some funny scenes :)

Or say something ambigious, to get them thinking.

*blank stare*

The potatoes in these parts are always boiled incorrectly. (or something stupid and irrelevant)

They'll think: what the heck was that, and will probably be trying to figure out a play on words/reading between the lines/deeper meaning when there is none. Then you just proceed to bowl them an absolute ripper for double measures.

Ah. I'll try that.

'You know, they say those with long bats, often need a pot of stewed carrots...'

'They say the best way to fight fire is to burn your heart under a full moon'

'I have my roots firmly inside my garage, if you know what I mean'

This could be a lot of fun :p

"I feel that ambient breakbeats often capitalize on the momentum, more than skullraping Dubsteps, what do you think?"

"If I hit the showers after the game, will you meet me there?"

Yeah, I reckon it could be more effective and fun than just the normal stuff they are already expecting.

Fail.

I've got a new one for when a batsman plays and misses:

"Shots like that would even make an Englishman blush!"

:D

Im a bit of a sledger on the field.. here are some of my comments:
(Talking to batsman)
You know you can try and score runs instead of just standing there.
You make cricket look boring...:p

More leaves than a tree.

More blocks than legoland.

Many more.

Never had a lot of sledging in my games, i usually ignore them.

On one occasion however, i stared down the keeper when he was getting too mouthy.

i like sledging my favourites are

1. (name) has more leaves than a tree
2. (name) has more blocks than a lego set
3. (name) has more swings than an abc learning centre
