Yeah ITM cup. But more importantly a Ranfurly shield challenge. We (Otago) have gone 53 years without the shield and every unsuccesful challenge is devastating. We woul rather finish last in the ITM cup and win the Ranfurly shield than win the ITM cup and lose the shield challenge. The worst thing about it is we were thrashed by Counties last week and will have to cause a major upset to win this week. I believe we can do it, come on boys bring the shield home in my lifetime PLEASE! :laugh

I would probably tip Southland in a close match, but Otago at 7/2, you just have to bet on them.

Southland have been playing much better rugby than Otago recently, and it's a home game, but I would still have had the odds a bit better for Southland...

20 something unsuccessful challenges in a row will have something to do with it.
But although we were beaten by Counties Manukau last week, and Southland won with a bonus point last week it's still worth a bet on Otago because as you say it should be a close match.

I can't believe it's only 12 PM (or is it AM :confused the day is going by so slowly, probably because there's a great night of rugby awaiting

Southland won by a bonus point, but it was only against the Turbos... though the Turbos did managed to give Canterbury a scare haha

I wish I just woke up, I've been battling a hangover all morning and for some reason I only slept for about 6 hours last night.
Yeah Turbo's were good to watch on Thursday, a good game starting in 2 hours too. ITM cup thread?

hahaha hangovers always make time go slowly. What I used to do is just stay up until I was sober again and then fall asleep. No hangovers that way. But then you're up to like 4 in the morning

Haha the best thing is drinking a few litres of water before bed, but the downside is if you try to fit that much in odds are it'll come straight back out, so last night I had 2 cups which was basically a waste of time :laugh

Yea, hangovers are caused by the dehydration so that's probably the best solution, depending on how much you've had

This guy in my geo class gets his mate to bet for him.
Like every Monday he'll discuss his winnings and losses from the weekend with me. :laugh
It's only another two months till I can roll down their though.

I had a friend who kept betting on the NRL and kept losing money. He'd tell me his winnings and losses too (not many winnings lol). But I don't have lectures with him any more so I don't hear about it now. I don't really want to start gambling though. If I do gamble it's normally a quiet game of poker with my mates.

Yeah, I'm normally quite very careful with my money.
All my mates waste it at the pool cafe at lunch (and BK on the weekends) etc, but I don't really want to spend $4 or $5 at the pool cafe for a tiny thing of chips...
