The stories in the poll are included as they have been the most interesting and active during the last month. Congratulations to MWaugh for jointly winning the September competition with myself. Therefore MWaugh's story and my story are ineligible for this month's competition as the winner of last month's.

The official criteria is that it has to have been active, and of a good quality, through at least most of the previous month. Hence why Usy's story which is of a good quality, is not allowed to be nominated this month because it started too recently

I am going to go with MVaughan's story. It is of good quality, it is well presented and I think it is time he won 'story of the month' .

As for the voting, it looks like a certain m_vaughan is in the lead, but there are a few people on one behind him, so it could all change

As far as nominations go, it is all dependant on the previous month, so really, you would win for your previous month's work

Unless you post almost a whole month of updates before the end of the moth, then no. The nominations are based on the whole of October, so a story started on the 26th is unlikely to get in

As for this month, it appears that we have a 3 way tie atm, any single vote out there could swing it
