Nice article. Indeed unlike test/50 overs - stats in T20 for top players are very unusual.

Majority of the top T20 batsmen average in the 30s range, while the so called best bowlers have ER between the 7-8 range.

I'm starting to think these are normal for T20s batsmen, given how the game is played. If a man could average 40+ in T20s, that is very high level of consistency. S/R in this format take on added significance also.

Narine/Ajmal/Malinga clearly stand out among T20 bowlers as well all know. Malinga especially among fast bowlers, because only he seems to be strangely able to bowl yorkers consistently well, while other top quick bowlers try an unnecessary amount of variation i believe.

Yeah averages come down ... 50+ Good avg in tests, 40+ Good average in ODIs, and 33+ good avg in T20. I like how that article combined the stats.
