Will be played on ps2. I played with my brother after watching 2nd test had 2 be played. did a toss to see who will be England and Australia. My brother had one and decided to be Australia (I wanted Australia). I won the main toss and decided to bat. I had collingwood instead of bell.
As the match got underway England were in big trouble 17/3 first to go was strauss lbw then trescothick bowled, vaughen was run out by a suicidal run by collingwood. Collingwood needed to perform and after the run out and he nearly failed with only 17 on the board but was droped
As collingwood and pieterson came in the attack rain stop play and 67 overs overs were lost, with both past the 50 mark the blow came when collingwood went for one too many and fell for 87. was it good news as flintoff was walking in. First ball dropped how costly cost would that be the 2nd ball went for 2 and the 3rd went for a big one 6 with piterson creeping to his 100 when he was on 99 lee came in to the attack the fielders were all in. 1st ball dot 2nd ball dot temptation wanted a big one I wanted to go for a straight drive for four 3rd ball out swinging Yorker edged ????????????? got?em. Pieterson gone and England lose 2 quick wickets. In comes jones as a partnership was growing flintoff got caught out and England lose another.
Giles to come in slowly runs were coming until lee with a splendid delivery looked lbw was not giving took jones really out the game, couple of balls later he was gone for. Hoggard came and went real quick . whilst harmisson and jones were 2 simple run outs and England were all out for 314
Australia came into bat and 3 wickets fell quick first to go was hayden caught behind from hoggard. Then harmison with a great over first sees off martyn(in came kattich), then we saw harmison struck with langers wickets and Australia were 37/3.
The Captain ricky pointing new he had 2 come in now. And was quick off the mark and was looking great rain fell again and 100 overs were lost (are we looking at a draw). We were now in the final session off day 3.
Pointing got upto a great 50 and then fell a couple of overs later to steve harmison who picked up his 3rd.
Clarke just couldn?t settle until for a couple of overs eventually got off the mark, by that time kattic was in his 80?s the break through jus did not look like happing. I forgot about jones brought him in no luck same for collingwood then decided to give jones 1more 4th ball great inswinging ball saw kattich?s leg stump fly out the ground, just to see gilchriest who was quick off the mark. Harmison got his fourth when the short ball was too temptin for Clarke and was caught. Shane warne made his way into the crease a couple more overs and nothing new else major happens and the third day comes to an end Australia were 280 something for 6.
